Steadfast Auto Vinyl Decal Installation Kits are designed for easier installation of larger vinyl vehicle graphics on your car using the "wet" application method. Available in 1oz and 2oz kits, our Vinyl Decal Installation Kits allow for installing practically any sized vinyl graphic on your car.
Installing a large vinyl decal "dry" can be risky as there is no room for error, which is why many vinyl decal manufacturers recommend using a "wet" installation method. Professional installers know a quality application fluid is key to a perfect installation, while DIY'ers are typically left with makeshift internet solutions such as using soapy water or window cleaner. The problem with using soapy water or window cleaner is they both leave chemical residues behind that interfere with the adhesives used in vinyl decals, reducing decal life, and in the case of window cleaners can even cause damage to your car's paint!
The solution is Steadfast Auto's Vinyl Installation Kit, which comes with our Performance Vinyl Application Fluid specially formulated for applying vinyl decals. Working hand in hand with the vinyl decal's adhesive, our Vinyl Application Fluid creates a stronger adhesive bond to your vehicle resulting in longer decal life, with no risk in damage to your paint.
In addition, we include a high quality Vinyl Installation Squeegee. This high flexing, easy gliding, vinyl decal squeegee delivers smooth squeegee action that is safe for installing vinyl graphics on vehicles while removing air bubbles and squeegeeing out excess vinyl application fluid from behind the decal.
Steadfast Auto's Vinyl Installation Kits come included in all of our large vehicle graphic kits, and are also available individually for sale. Our 1oz kits are perfect for medium sized decals such as hood graphics and rocker stripes, while 2oz kits are perfect for large graphics such as racing stripes and also includes a Precision Trim Knife. "Wet" installation is not recommended for small decals that can easily be applied dry.
